The entertaining musical “There’s a sunflower in my supper” was performed on the stage by our talented P2. The story was given a delightful Scottish twist. Even haggis, neeps and tatties were offered as an amusing alternative to the cows’ usual diet of grass. You could spot references to familiar names around the school such as Kenny, our Cargilfield groundsman, Alan the baker and Mandy, the pastry chef. Even the Headmaster makes an appearance as the expert who knows everything! All the children sang and acted with real confidence and the appreciative audience loved the performance which was played out on a wonderfully decorated stage. What a show, and a big thank you to Mrs Spencer and Mrs Quayle for all their hard work getting the children ready!
