We were delighted that M. G. Leonard chose to visit Cargilfield as part of the promotional tour for Feather, the final book in her exciting Twitcher series. She gave a very amusing talk to the children in Forms 4, 5 and 6. We learnt all about the process she goes through when writing her books and the similarities between birdwatchers and detectives! In return, the children impressed her with their ornithological knowledge and enthusiasm.
