On a calm and mild afternoon in Musselburgh, a re-vamped U11A team played a fast-paced, competitive yet well-natured game of rugby against Loretto. Both teams played some super rugby with some great off-loads from the tackle area. The break-down area was fiercely competed as both teams looked to turn-over the ball. Some terrific rucking from both teams meant the ball could be recycled and we saw some good passages of play from both teams. In defence the tackling was solid on the whole. A few missed first-time tackles meant another player had to cover, which strained our defensive formation. There were some super tries and all the boys involved looked to enjoy the game. Well played both teams.
