7-0 win

It was a cold day for our game agaisnt Belhaven but this just meant the girls needed to run a bit more. After announcing hockey captain , well done Izzy, there was a buzz in the air. Everyone was keen to start off strong and get ahead as early as possible. We did just that with a nice early goal from Savannah W. We continued to press and we pepered their goal especially down the right where Esme would drive down the base line and set up our attacker. With a decent number on the bench we contiued to sub throuout the game and gave everyone a chance to play in different postion. This however did not effect our attcking attitude and we continued to get our shots away but unfortunatley the Belhaven keeper had some outstanding saves and kept the score down.

With it still being early on in the season I was expecting still a bit of rustyness but that was noty the case and I was very impressed with our team effort and fantastic play.
