Under 13A vs St Mary’s

7-0 win

It was a cold and wet day. Our aim for the game was to start off strong and be on the front foot, unfortunately St Marys had the same idea and started off stronger than us. With our forwards being critical in their finishing this season, we were lucky enough to have a couple break away goals and go into half time break in the lead. We had a decent chat at half time and wanted more structure in our play. We occasionally were caught out by St Marys taking the foul very quickly. This has given us ideas on what to work on and we need to read and understand the game a bit more.

Apart from that the girls had a hard-fought win and played some fantastic hockey and I hope we can keep up the intensity this season.
