Our U11B team faced Fettes this afternoon and were pretty evenly matched for the first 2 quarters. It took us some time to find our feet today and to play at the level which we were capable of. However, by the third quarter we were starting to play well using short passes and finding space on the wings. Thalia was a solid Centre but was marked by some able players and so found it hard to keep breaking free. On the wings, Zinnia, Bea , Rosanna and Livia were having more success and holding their space well. Some excellent shooting allowed us to move head in the third quarter with super goals from Livia and from Bea. In defence, Clara was working well at marking her oppostion and sending the ball back down the court from the back line.
