We won the centre pass and very quickly scored our first goal. We used the wings and were able to move quickly into attack taking the opposition a little unawares. We dominated the first quarter but towards the end were a little bit sloppy in our passing.

We carried on and capitalised on our lead in the second quarter. Scarlett and Lottie both shot very well today although we need to think more carefully about supporting them at the edge of the D so that they have options to pass back rather than always having to take a shot when their positioning is not great. At Centre and on the mid court Emily B and Olivia worked tirelessly for all four quarters contesting every ball with Olivia leaping into the air to gain us a few impressive interceptions. Zinnia was a good support on the wing and her excellent court coverage allowed us to move the ball forward. Emily B and Freya worked hard to back up Cici and Athena in defence.

The second half of the game saw Kilgraston come back very strongly and our play became a little scrappy. We need to focus more on moving into space rather than just lobbing the ball and hoping for the best. However, we managed to hold onto our lead although Kilgraston outplayed us in the final quarter.
