Capt: Isla C

After a good warm up lead by our captain for the day, Isla, the girls enjoyed a fun and challenging game. Kilgraston won the toss and started the game. As there were 10 girls in the Cargilfield squad we had to rotate every quarter, so several girls had the opportunity to try different bibs during the match.

The first half went relatively well as both teams were finding their pace. We scored 4 and Kilgraston scored 6. There were a few mistakes that could have been avoided in this quarter but the girls learnt from it and during the next two quarters, there were a lot less mistakes made. The game got faster and our team was a lot more focused. Unfortunately, it was not enough to win but it was a brilliant effort. The girls did not give up and managed to score 2 more goals in the last quarter. Our player of the match is Isla G, as she played energetically and kept on motivating her peers.
