U11A Netball v St George’s

Final Score: Cargilfield 7, St Georges 11

This was a short and furious game. I think at times we moved too fast and then made a few faults on court with our footwork or passing straight into the hands of the opposing teams.

The first two quarters showed some good play from our team. Our defence worked well to keep the opposition from scoring and Emily was effective on the mid court. We ended the first half with St Georges one goal ahead.

However, at half time St George’s stepped up their play. We made some attempts to use our dodges but there was a little too much calling for the ball when behind an opposition player. St George’s started to edge ahead.

The final quarter saw our best play and we started to focus and work harder at moving into space. Lottie shot very well in this quarter and we started to catch up. However, the final whistle came too soon for us.
