1st team Cricket v Fettes
Won
We went to Fettes looking to play our 2nd hard ball game of the season. Unfortunately, the weather did not let this happen. So, we ended up playing a softball pairs game in the sports hall. We fielded first and took a wicket the very first ball of the game so the girls were in good spirts. Throughout the game we bowled really well with the pick of the bowlers being Tessa B, bowling with some decent pace and some fantastic line and length. We restricted Fettes to 32.
We went out to bat looking to make a quick start and thankfully we did. We played some fantastic shots and kept the scoreboard ticking over. We had a few silly wickets so definitely something to work on for the next game but all in all it was a good all-round team performance. Well done!!
