Some super cricket in the sunshine!

U10B Cricket v Fettes

Win 104 - 39

Clara's victory in the game of rock, paper, scissors determined that the team would start fielding.

With Clara's win, the U10B team took their positions on the field and awaited the start of the game. Seb and Michael's outstanding bowling performance, only allowing Fettes to score 5 runs in their two innings, is very impressive. They played a crucial role in restricting the opposition's scoring opportunities.

Clara, Florence, Timothy, and Ethan also contributed by bowling accurately and hitting the wickets, which earned the team vital points. Good communication among the team members further strengthened their fielding efforts, resulting in Fettes being held to 39 runs.

When it was their turn to bat, Oliver and Monty set a fantastic start for the team by hitting the ball over the boundary seven times in the first two overs. Their powerful shots not only scored runs but also provided the team with momentum. The batting prowess continued throughout the lineup, with the team displaying excellent connections with the ball. Their hunger for runs and consistent hitting and running paid off, culminating in a strong total of 104 runs.

Both teams displayed excellent sportsmanship. Demonstrating respect and fair play is an integral part of any sport, and it's wonderful that it was evident in this match.

Congratulations to the U10B team on their outstanding performance and their impressive victory! They should be proud of their teamwork, skills, and dedication.WhatsApp Image 2023 06 08 at 08.08.38
