The rain managed to hold up just long enough for the U11s to play against Fettes. With our 3 main goals as usual being to communicate lots, make space across the pitch and strong accurate passing, we went in with a strong attitude. Some fantastic displays of sportsmanship, goals and teamwork throughout shoved a well-deserved win for the Cargilfield side. The team started to focus on having players situated around the pitch, especially someone on the back post and someone to make an option behind.

Having only one substitute did prove tricky towards the end as the team fatigued, but they dug deep for more energy (and more goals!). A major shoutout to Katherine for some powerful clearance all the way to the other end of the pitch. Goals scored by Georgia, Jed, Charlotte, Polly and Imaan and some great assists from Isobel. Brilliant result, well done girls!
