This afternoon saw our first away match of the season where Fettes kindly arranged a round robin tournament.

We were able to put out 3 teams, The Squirrels, The Owls and The Pheasants. This allowed everyone to have lots of game time.

Both Fettes sides were competetive putting all 3 of our teams to the test. Generally speaking we improved over the afternoon, challenging Fettes with the games ebbing and flowing and victories for all sides. It was also fantastic to see the Cargifield teams not giving an each inch when they played each other. The teams were as evenly split as Mr Lemmer and I thought and thankfully it produced great contests. We felt all our sides ended the tournament with more structure, solid passing, lots of good attacking play and even a little more well organised defense. It was a good afternoon.

Again, all games were played in the right spirit, which is credit to the ethos of both schools, so thank you Fettes.
