Their journey commenced with a stellar victory against Loretto, where their exceptional ball movement resulted in a 2-0 win. The second match against St Mary's Stonyhurst proved to be a tough battle, but Cargilfield maintained their composure, securing a 1-0 victory.

A nail-biting encounter followed against Fettes, a team renowned for their skill. Despite a valiant effort, an unfortunate error led to Fettes' late goal, resulting in a narrow 1-0 loss. However, this setback fueled Cargilfield's determination, driving them to a commanding 4-0 victory against Belhaven, securing their spot in the knockout round.

Facing St Mary's Melrose, Cargilfield found themselves trailing 1-0, but a remarkable reverse stick goal by Miranda R and a poacher's goal from Scarlett J turned the tide, leading to a triumphant 2-1 win. 

In the final round, Cargilfield showcased their prowess in a fierce draw against Strathallan, setting the stage for a decisive match against Fettes. In a display of exceptional teamwork, Scarlett J's poacher's goal sealed a 1-0 victory. The competition intensified in the golden goal period, leading to a dramatic penalty shootout. Thanks to Emily B's decisive goal and Isla G's crucial save, Cargilfield emerged as the champions, showcasing their unwavering determination and skill.
