U12 Netball vs Cramond Primary

A Thrilling, high octane start to our netball season.

From the start both teams were fairly evenly matched. Cramond took an early lead with a fabulous goal in the first minute of play.

We started with Lottie at GS and Scarlett at GA. Emily B at Centre and Olivia at WA showed amazing court coverage and worked well with Emily M, Freya and Emilia M to get the ball to our shooters. A little rusty at first, we quickly picked things up and encouraged by our (noisy) support from the balcony above, Scarlett took the equaliser. Then, Cramond edged ahead although we kept them within our sights. Athena and Cici worked well defending the goal circle with some great interceptions from Athena. Thalia took her turn in the shooting circle and things began to hot up. With 3 minutes to play Lottie, Scarlett and then Lottie again, scored to bring us to a narrow victory.
