U11 Netball v Loretto

9-3 Win

This week due to frosty astros the games were brought inside with the U11 team starting the run of three games. The girls were excited to get going and had a good warm up waiting for Loretto to arrive. The game started with a Loretto center and we were off!

The game was flowing with some footwork and lack of distance from both teams however this gradually started to improve with some great passing forward towards the net. Alice and Elerora are working well as a team in GS & GA roles and secured the team 9 goals. In the central court Clara, Alexandra, Florence, Isla and Helena covered the court well moving into spaces to be free for the pass. Zinnia and Livia in GK and GD were a force intercepting and snatching the ball to keep the number of shots on our net minimal, only letting Loretto score 3 goals. The game was a great warm up for the coming netball season and the team is already showing a lot of potential.
