On what was a bitterly cold afternoon over at Inverleith, two U10 rugby teams played against our friends from SMC, and despite the icy wind blowing across the fields, both teams played some excellent rugby.  We had a contact team and a touch team, and both sides scored some terrific rugby, using the ball well, going forwards, looking for off loads and running in to space; in addition the tackling in the contact game was ferocious, from both teams, and it was wonderful to see both sets of players so committed in defence.  Both teams managed to win, but more importantly, everyone enjoyed the afternoon, even though the spectators were freezing on the touchline!
