U13C Hockey Vs St Mary’s

Won 6-1

The U13C Hockey team enjoyed a fast-paced and very entertaining match against the St Mary U13 B team yesterday. The passing and work-rate was excellent from the Cargilfield boys, who showed a real determination to win and play their best. Leo Sm and Sasha linked up particularly well and made many passes to each other. Leo Se was aggressive up front and had a nose for the goal, scoring a hattrick and causing panic in the St Mary’s defence whenever he got the ball. Wilfred was magnificent in midfield, running his socks off up and down the field making tackles and linking between defense and attack. Matthew ran all game and got into good positions. Honour made some terrific tackles, often beating his opponent in a 1on1 situation. Max was also strong in defense, showing good speed too, which was great to see. William played well in defense and midfield, looking to pass and making good tackles. Hugh didn’t have an awful lot to do in goal, but he made two excellent clearances and, most importantly, he kept communicating with his team, which kept him involved and everyone on track. Altogether, I was very impressed with your hockey boys, well played.
