This week’s netball match was a tough one for Cargilfield. The girls started with a slow pace and got surprised by Fettes strong attack in the first quarter. In response to their formidable offensive strategy, we made the strategic decision to reinforce our defense, bringing in Gabriella and Valentina to guard the goal.

Initially, we struggled to keep up with the pace set by Fettes, leading to some challenges in coordinating our movements on the court. However, as the match progressed, we adapted and found our rhythm, improving our ability to follow the pace of the game.

Recognizing the need for a dynamic approach, we experimented with different player combinations in an attempt to thwart Fettes' scoring attempts. Despite our efforts, Fettes proved to be the superior team on this occasion.

Emily showcased her skills and determination while playing Center, giving her best effort to contribute to our team's performance. In the attacking zone, Olivia and Lottie, with Shriyaa on the wing, worked tirelessly to create opportunities and score points.

The defensive line, consisting of Glory, Emilia, and Praise, faced a formidable challenge intercepting the ball and swiftly passing it to their teammates. The tough job required resilience and teamwork, with each player demonstrating commitment and determination.

In the end, despite the challenging match, the girls displayed commendable resilience, facing a tough opponent with determination. Well done to all the players for their hard work and effort in a demanding match that truly tested their skills and teamwork.
