U11A Netball v St George’s

6-11 Loss

The U11A team were delighted for a close to home fixture and headed 10mins along the road to St. George’s. Most of the girls were fighting their exhaustion from the boarding weekend!

We had a good start with the girls connecting across the court but at times struggle to get in front of the opposition and intercept the passes. St. George’s had the majority of the possession!

Eleora and Alice have become a great pairing in GS & GA and had some brilliant passes into the circle from Florence and Clara.

Florence managed to sustain a whole game wearing Isla’s trainers that were two sizes too big, but this did not make any difference to her performance. She covered the whole court really well in the Centre position. Livia, Isla and Zinnia were a force snatching balls but need to work on their distance when defending. Alice was voted player of the match by St.George’s.
