U11B v Edinburgh Academy

Cargilfield’s Under 11 B’s had their first home match against the Edinburgh Academy. We started the game strong with three points scored between our GA (Thandeka) and GS (Agus). Our defence played very well with Alexandra, Helena and Anastasia ensuring the EA did not have a chance to score. Our center Esme and WA (Jed) perfectly complimented and matched play allowing us to have the ball in our possession most of the time. Our shooters took on coaching and altered their play and continued to shoot phenomenally with a total of nine to nil at the end of the match. This was a huge achievement for our girls who haven’t had a win in a while so spirits were high! Player of the match was awarded by the opposition to Helena for excellent play!
