U11 Netball v Loretto

This week we travelled around the bypass to Loretto Senior School to play on Hope Court.

The team of Clara (Capt), Alice, Isla, Florence, Livia, Lily, Eleora, Agus.

During this game we decided to play in a variety of positions attempting to work on skills and tactics that those positions require. The game started off strong with the teams drive and passion for the sport showing. They love playing games and always work hard to snatch the ball, communicate and play well as a team. We had Lily and Agus having their first games in the A team and they both had an opportunity to play in their favorite positions on the court in GA & GS, which they did well. Eleora, Alice and Livia had a quarter each attempting Centre with Clara, Isla and Eleora also playing some defence. The game was a nice pace to attempt these changes. The team need to work on their movement around the court moving into a space as well as not throwing the ball away with huge lobs! There were some lovely passes into the shooting circle to the GS and some great interpermeating to gain possessions. Well done and bring on netball tour!
