Eager to commence the tournament on a high note, the team faced their formidable rivals, Fettes, in the first game. Despite a resilient start with an early goal, Fettes posed a challenge, narrowing the score to 2-1. Nevertheless, Cargilfield emerged victorious, setting the tone for a compelling day.

The second game against George Watsons saw Cargilfield delivering a stellar performance, demonstrating lethal finishing with a commanding 7-0 win. The third match against Gorgonstoun proved to be a bit scrappy, testing the team's discipline. Despite the challenges, Cargilfield secured a 2-0 victory.

Facing Strathallan B in a more straightforward encounter, Cargilfield exhibited improved gameplay and finishing, overcoming a commendable young goalkeeper to secure a convincing win. The semifinal presented its own set of challenges, demanding better communication from the defensive players. After a tense battle, Cargilfield emerged triumphant with a 3-1 win.
