Well done to all P3s for being super campers over the weekend! The weekend started with pitching their tents using brilliant team work and den building in the woods. P3 then set off to Incholm island explored the re-opened abbey and walked through a WWI Ammunition tunnel P3 collecting shells, bones and got digging on the beach! The children enjoyed playing on the school grounds and had a big BBQ followed by ice cream. P3 toasted their marshmallows with hot chocolate whilst listening to Mr Taylor’s story followed by a famous Mr Tinkler camp song. They were super organised with their packing and got to use the upper school changing rooms to get ready for bed time. In the early hours Everyone played card games and read in their tents before have their first Cargilfield breakfast! The children then learnt about nature and science with Donald the explorer all morning through outdoor activities, investigating bones, bees, tracking, bird feathers as well as sea life from the Firth of Fourth. A jam packed weekend for P3 and a well-deserved rest!
