For any child seeking a thriving career in horse racing or any field, Catriona Bissett serves as a real inspiration. She graduated from Glasgow University and soon after began developing her interest in racehorses. Her journey began when she was taken on by two-time Grand National winning trainer Lucinda Russell (sister of a former Cargilfield parent) where she gained extensive knowledge in racehorse training. Later on, she joined Richard Philips and then became the Assistant Trainer with Nick Alexander for over nine years. Her passion for horses and her deep understanding of racehorse training captivated the children and there were lots of great questions afterwards.
