On a breezy day at Belhaven, our U11A's were quick into action after a very much delayed start, we will blame the sat nav... Ethan played well down the right to slip the ball to Miguel who selflessly fed Jack to score.

Belhaven immediately struck back with a well worked goal. This kicked the boys into life who scored two quick goals through Jack, but they were very much team goals with David, Max and Johnny moving the ball brilliantly in transition.

Rather against the run of play, but showing how clinical and dangerous Belhaven were on the break, Belhaven scored two quick fire goals to level before the break.

After a stern word from the coach, Miguel slipped brilliantly into the holding role and began to break up play like a young Michael Carrick. He fed Jack who put the boys 4-3 up. Max then got jn on the act perfectly placing a shot from the edge of the D into the bottom right hand corner. The stern word from Coach MJ clearly worked, with Ethan and Miguel doubling up superbly on the talented Belhaven front three.

After a period of sustained pressure Belhaven brought another goal back in a pulsating encounter, to be followed by Max assisting Jack for another superb team goal.
