Friends of Cargilfield

Parents are part of the school

The Friends of Cargilfield (FOC) is a group of parents who meet monthly to plan fundraising and social events.

FOC members usually stay on board for three years so that there is continuity within the group.

The FOC is comprised of members who are class reps for their year groups as well as uniform shop organiser, a treasurer, secretary and Chair. Please go to the iSAMS Parent App for contact details of class reps.

Purposes of the Friends of Cargilfield

The Friends of Cargilfield (FOC) is dedicated to promoting Cargilfield as a happy and successful independent school.

FOC play a vital role in supporting new parents by reaching out and meeting them before their child starts school. In addition to this, the Form Representatives of FOC organise coffee mornings and drinks parties throughout the year, providing a chance for parents to socialise.

To support the school and its chosen charities, FOC manages the Secondhand Uniform Shop and conducts various fundraising activities, including cake sales, quiz nights, and seasonal fairs with 75% of proceeds going to the chosen charities with the rest going to school projects.

In 2023, Cargilfield is proud to support Lewis Leap, the National Deaf Children’s Society and Canine Partners.

FOC keep their year groups informed about discussions held at their regular meetings, ensuring that all parents are updated on the latest news.
