P3 had a fantastic trip to Mr Ker’s farm on Wednesday. We learnt about all the different things a farmer does throughout the year to help the livestock and crops to thrive including; sowing the grain, clipping the sheep, spraying the crops and feeding the cattle. The children got to see all the various machines which Mr Ker uses on the farm and even had a chance to sit on one of the tractors! It was a wonderful day which the children and staff thoroughly enjoyed.
A huge thank you to Mr Ker, his brother Andrew and RHET (Royal Highland Educational Trust) for helping to organise the day!
