Some of Form 7 had lots of fun on their boarding weekend. After a delicious pizza on Friday evening, the early alarms on Saturday didn't dampen spirits, as we were looking forward our adventure to Gordounston. The road trip was filled with lively chatter and music and the four hours passed in no time.
Upon arrival, Form 7 wasted no time getting organised and prepared for the Junior Highland Games. It was an exciting sight to see Cargifiled among the other schools as they entered the field. The first round of games began with activities like Welly boot and haggis throwing, followed by the slippery pole contest, and culminating in the ultimate Tug of War. Lottieās boundless energy and leadership rallied the team to victory in the coveted Tug of War, with enthusiastic support from the team on the sidelines. Afterward, the children enjoyed participating in various activities and exploring various stalls before showcasing another impressive performance in the obstacle course, securing a well-deserved 2nd place finish. We enjoyed meeting the Gordounston Junior boarders who kindly invited us for a movie and additional treats on Saturday evening.
Sunday arrived quickly, and soon Form 7 found themselves quad biking at Dalraddy Estate, which was great fun. There was just enough time to enjoy a comforting hot chocolate before we hit the road back to Edinburgh, wrapping up another super weekend!
